It was a busy day in Maui when Qualcomm started the tip of the calf technology this year. San Diego chip maker announced two-in-one PC form factor powered by the 835 calf nose which has some large-name companies such as Asus and HP behind it. The company has also taken advantage of its latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 845.
Details are still rare, but the company confirmed rumors that the chip will come out in 2018. It is almost certain that the 845 will become everywhere in the high-end flagship next year, with the 835 place, which made this last time last year and almost all phones High-end for the next 12 months.
Ziyumi CEO Li Jun took the stage today to announce that his next premium phone will work on the chip. You can expect many other large companies name Android devices to follow soon. Samsung, Google and LG built all the flagship of 2017 around the chip, although these companies can wait for the next product ads to support 845.
The chip may also be found in other non-Android devices, including the computer with Windows 10, among other things. Due to the company’s embrace the headset has fled with the 835, I would not be too surprised to see the 845 appear on some of them as well.
Without revealing much in terms of specifications, Qualcomm Vice President Alex Katuzian highlighted some key approaches to the chip, including image processing / video, AI, F / R and battery life. In other words, precisely what one can expect from the main chip of the next generation of the company.
Likely to hear much more about the chip tomorrow, the second day of the summit, so stay tuned.
